Jazz Raffle 2006

On Sunday evening at Pigeon Island, as Seal brought down the curtain on this year’s

St. Lucia Jazz and fireworks lit up the night sky, three lucky tickets were drawn for the School of Music’s ‘5-4-5’ Cash Back Jazz Raffle.

The winning tickets were: for third prize of $1,000.00, ticket no. 0166 won by Marvelyn Melius of Ciceron; second prize of $3,000.00 was ticket no 5287 won by Tevin Joseph of Hospital Road Castries, and the winner of the $5,000.00 first prize was Giannetti George of Pierrot, Vieux-Fort with the winning ticket no. 5776. Prize winners will be presented with their cheques at a ceremony to be held at the Music School’s Tapion premises at 11.00am this Wednesday 17 May.

The School wishes to thank the many persons who so kindly supported this raffle, proceeds of which are earmarked for a much needed extension to the school’s facilities at Tapion.
